Alba Duque
Alba Duque is a Barcelona-based photographer, visual artist, and director whose practice moves between fashion, portraiture, and personal projects. Her work explores identity, the body, diversity, and contemporary ideas of beauty, with a particular interest in people and stories that exist beyond conventional representations. Her images combine an intimate approach with a raw and direct visual language, creating space for vulnerability, connection, and authenticity.

Alongside her personal practice, Alba works across commissioned and editorial projects, collaborating with international brands and publications including Calvin Klein, Vogue, El País, Sanex, and Wuka. Her work has been presented internationally, including at the PhotoVogue Festival in Milan, as well as exhibitions and projects in Paris, Barcelona, and London.

I take photos to make sense of the world around me. I still create images before I fully understand them. Looking back at them, I begin to see who I am becoming and the direction I’m moving in.

At the heart of Alba’s photography is a desire to find beauty where it is often overlooked. Through portraiture and projects such as All of Us and Pure Beauty, she uses the camera as a way to explore bodies, identity, and human connection, challenging established ideas of beauty while maintaining a sensitive and deeply personal approach.
