Ana Santl Andersen
Ana Santl is a Slovenian photographer currently based in Athens, Greece. Her professional practice focuses on interiors, architecture, and travel photography, while her personal work is rooted in documenting everyday moments and her journeys through analog film. Working across these different genres, she creates images that are both intimate and atmospheric, revealing a deep sensitivity to light, space, and human presence.
Photography has been part of her life since childhood, when she received her first analog point-and-shoot camera and began photographing school trips and daily life. An early comment from a friend’s mother, who suggested that she would become a photographer, stayed with her and gradually became a reality. Alongside photography, she developed a strong interest in furniture and interior design, often helping her father finish wooden furniture in his workshop and observing with fascination the process of shaping spaces.
