Jérémie Azuelos is a French-Moroccan self-taught photographer based in Casablanca. His work delves into human stories, often within urban landscapes, capturing everyday social realities and the cultural challenges he encounters throughout his travels.
Rather than aiming to be perceived as authentic or conforming to expected norms, I wish to express the personal feeling of the moment and invite the viewer to a visual street poem.
Driven by a passion for connection and exchange, his practice weaves together documentary, street, and, more recently, fashion photography—a new territory he approaches with curiosity and joy, while keeping authenticity at the heart of his perspective. He is also the founder of Hands of Morocco, a collaborative project with various artists that serves as a visual tribute to Morocco’s soul—its craftsmanship, its simplicity, and the people who shape its identity.
