Mark Rammers is a Dutch photographer based in Amsterdam, though he feels just as much at home on the road, where he finds calm, balance, and quiet beauty in seemingly ordinary places and everyday situations.
Film photography is my way of practicing awareness.
Through his work, he explores moments that are easily overlooked, capturing subtle scenes in a world defined by constant change, speed, and infinite distraction. By slowing things down and drawing attention to the familiar, he aims to inspire viewers to pause, reflect, and rediscover the value of their immediate surroundings.
With a strong focus on belonging and our emotional connection to place, his photography investigates how our dreams, desires, and identities are mirrored in the environments we inhabit and continuously shape around us.
