Nevena Lukic
Nevena Lukić is a landscape architect and analogue photographer originally from Belgrade, now based in London. Her architectural background and passion for photography merge into a visual language that explores transience and emotional memory within places. Through analogue film, Nevena captures intimate, poetic, and delicate moments, often fleeting glimpses of landscapes, people, and everyday life, that invite viewers to pause and appreciate the subtle beauty in the world around them.
Rather than aiming to be perceived as authentic or conforming to expected norms, I wish to express the personal feeling of the moment and invite the viewer into the experience.
Her passion for analogue photography stems from childhood memories of hiding under the kitchen table, observing the world through the tablecloth, a sensation of discovery and safety in the unknown. This sense of wonder and curiosity is reflected in her photographic approach, which she views as a playful engagement that rekindles the innocence of childhood.
